Dear ani Yeshe, Nangchen NomadAs we approach the end of an eventful year, I wish to thank you for your support and for standing with the Tibetan people and the International Campaign for Tibet. Despite some challenges, I believe we can look back at 2009 as a constructive chapter in the Tibet movement. At ICT we are already looking forward to 2010 with renewed determination and dedication to our mission. In pursuit of our mission, we will draw on the wisdom and courage of the Tibetan people, including the Tibetan women who have often played a leadership role in the struggle for justice and human dignity in Tibet. Some of the most admired among them are highlighted in the 2010 “Women in Tibet” calendar. We hope that their images and stories will continue to inspire people around the world and play as influential a role in your lives as they do in ours. On behalf of all my colleagues at ICT, I wish you the happiest of holidays and a new year that sees real progress for peace and justice for all.
